About Me

I am Nik, just a regular nobody from Coventry, England. My job involves driving around in coaches.

As an introvert (and self-diagnosed neurodivergent) I probably put more into my online life than my real one. Technically a “Xennial”, but my mind is much younger than my body and time is moving on way too fast!

Why NeptuneHawke?

NeptuneHawke is an online name I came up with a while ago which I started to use where I don’t want to use my actual name.

It started off when I wanted something unique for a gaming handle. Originally based on a random word string I was allocated somewhere, it wasn’t meaningful or catchy enough so I adjusted it, and decided to match it with my no.1 fandom, with the added bonus that it was 100% unique which is rare nowadays!

It was first really used as my Steam handle and is now spreading to other sites.

My Socials

The main purpose of this site is to act as a hub for linking my social network profiles (inspired by Linktree Link-in-Bio type sites).

My personal socials are open to anyone that knows me – whether in real life, my online moots and buddies, or workmates and acquaintances – you’re welcome to add/follow on any of my socials and I’ll try to reciprocate.

My public socials are open to anyone (almost – nice real friendly people only please)!

My socials include a mix of all-sorts… journal-type posts, thoughts and opinions (if I dare!), favourite music and artists, photography, gaming, TV and video entertainment, memes and funnies… and plenty of random crap.

About This Site

I wanted a little simple online place to consolidate my social profiles and also use as a link-in-bio type thing. Nothing fancy, just to share my links and maybe play about with a bit. So here goes, this is NeptuneHawke.online.

I previously tried a few simple link sites; although they do the job, their annoying restrictions, feature locking and high prices inspired me to start my own here with my own domain and hosting. More for cheaper!

I’m trying to make this simple to use and navigate, whether on desktop or mobile. I can’t guarantee it’ll look good or work perfectly on everything but I test it as much as I can on the devices that I use. Themes, designs and images might change a lot as I develop it or get bored with it.

My provider for this is Hostinger (there’s a 20% discount on that link if you need their services!) which provides my domains and hosting, on which I’m using WordPress,org Gutenberg system to create my site.

This site is always gonna be a work in progress, I get bored easily so I might change and move things around a bit. There may be random functions, elements, stock photos and general weirdness at times.

Any suggestions from my friends to amend or improve this, please let me know!
